The Life Design Podcast

This weekly podcast is about designing your life in order to live it to it‘s fullest. Your hosts, Carlos & Susanne Hidalgo, have been applying Life Design principles for the last four years and will share the lessons they have learned, the approaches they take to continually design the life they want and also feature guests who have designed their lives and are living life to it‘s fullest.

Bo & Emilie Totten admit that they do not have it all figured out. However, they knew that when they looked at their life that something had to change if they wanted to design a life that they loved.

Bo & Emilie talked about these changes and the impact it has had on their family in this episode of The Life Design Podcast. They openly talk about Emilie's work as a marketing executive and Bo's focus on creating art and his role as a stay-at-home dad. They discuss their decision to move to the suburbs and also Bo's commitment to sobriety which is now going on four years and how all of these decisions have impacted their lives.

It starts, as they say, with asking yourself "what am I willing to do to make it happen?" By asking that question, they know that they are not stuck in anything and are enjoying their Life Design journey.

Society tells us that success requires sacrifice, but as we have seen with the great resignation many are starting to define success on their terms and are unwilling to sacrifice their well-being for a corporation.

On this first episode of the third season of The Life Design Podcast, Carlos and Susanne sit down with Susanne Grant, author, work-life integration consultant, and entrepreneur, to discuss the human element of work, why people are leaving their jobs and how Life Design impacts careers and the choices we make.

Grant wraps up the episode by giving great insights into a small shift that can be made for those who want to design their own lives and define success on their terms.
