The Life Design Podcast

This weekly podcast is about designing your life in order to live it to it’s fullest. Your hosts, Carlos & Susanne Hidalgo, have been applying Life Design principles for the last four years and will share the lessons they have learned, the approaches they take to continually design the life they want and also feature guests who have designed their lives and are living life to it’s fullest.

One of the things that can derail any Life Design plan is limiting what one believes they can achieve. These negative thoughts become obstacles and often cause a person to feel stuck.

This is where Kevin Bjorkland thrives! Kevin is a Mindset Coach who helps people eliminate their limiting beliefs and produces habitual thoughts of positivity and success.

In this episode of The Life Design Podcast, Kevin Bjorkland talks with Carlos and Susanne about the power of a positive mindset, the role his faith plays in defining who he is, why we can always express gratitude, and his approach to Life Design.

So many live a life in the "comfort zone" and as a result, their life becomes bland and unfulfilled. When we take the steps to move out of our comfort zone and explore ourselves in a deeper way, life opens up and gets exciting.

In this episode of The Life Design Podcast, Carlos and Susanne speak with Human Design Specialist, Patricia Lindner about what can be done to live life to its fullest.

Patricia speaks to some of her own story and the work she does with her clients to move from imagining a great life to living one that is extraordinary.

Too many times we approach life design in fractional ways. We lose sight of the fact that we are holistic beings and no matter how we may tray, we cannot take ourselves apart.

When we take the time to stop, get back to our core identity, we are then able to love ourselves in a healthy way and begin living a life that is fulfilling and wholehearted.

In this episode of The Life Design Podcast, Joel Wyrtzen, LPC shares his insights and experience with Carlos and Susanne on how we can truly design a life that we love.

Life Design is not a one size fits all approach to life. For Kevin and Stacy Kimmey, their life design includes their love of sailing and the many passages they take on their boat off the coast of California.

On this episode of The Life Design Podcast, Kevin and Stacy share about their love of sailing, how they have designed their life to maximize their time on the water, and the joy and benefits they have realized by living their life on their terms.

Not many would make the choice to walk away from a promising career and set off on a new path at the age of 36. However, this is the choice that Kurt Koontz made and there are no regrets.

In his conversation with Carlos & Susanne, Kurt, who is an author, keynote speaker, and world traveler,  talks about that decision and many others. He shares his experience of walking the famed El Camino de Santiago in Spain, his time spent in Rishikesh, India studying the practice of yoga, and his approach to life where he says "yes" to everything.

Kurt shares candidly about his thoughts on life design, the benefits he has received from embodying this mindset and says that often the first step is to just buy the plane ticket.
